Less is More

Some strange things are happening in my head. I forgot to take a picture of the cardboard bricks (see Day # 14) and now I do not want to unwrap the bags they are in and take a picture. Dare I say it? I do not want to waste my time.
A part of me wants to just use these blog posts as the memory of my given away items. And another part, even more scary, wants to discard papers.....without looking at them! This is like a shift comparable to that of the tectonic plates under the continents......only this is below the surface of my soul.
I end this blog early today, in order to go to my driveway.....and discard more items before the trucks come after 8 am. Less is not more - I have never believed that. But more has turned out to be less - more junk, less space, more excess....less time.
I will try to take some photos, as a reminder of this time. But not too many, as I do not want to clutter up my phone. I barely have enough memory as it is!

You certainly come up with some good lines. Like, ..."below the surface of my soul."
ReplyDeleteThat's darn pritty.
